The Estate is comprised of 231 plots with the provision of infrastructures such as roads, electricity, water supply, drainages, telecoms, and a perimeter fence to make the 231 plots fully serviced. Security & Service Charge
Like most estates in lagos. Carlton Gate Estate is a gated estate with armed men at the entrance gate. These men are stationed at the entrance gate 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, making sure everyone that comes into the estate is questioned and well attended to.
Non-residents are to call their host before access is granted to them. And cars are been checked.
For an estate to function perfectly well, it always comes at a cost, and that cost is referred to as the service charge. Every resident at the Carlton Gate Estate pays an annual fee of ₦200,000 naira only.
Water & Electricity in Carlton Gate Estate
With most estates in lagos having to deal with unclean water every now and then. Carlton gate Estate provides its community with clean and treated water. Water supply within the estate is metered, with a compulsory minimum fee of ₦3,000 monthly.
Electricity is provided by EKDC with an adequate number of transformers within the estate to cater to the need of every resident. Central generators are used to power the street lights and central water supply unit.
Regarding electricity, residents are advised to power their homes with either generators or inverters (solar systems).
Road, Flood & Wate Management
Road within this estate is tarred and an excellent drainage system is installed in both sides of the road
The estate has no record of floods and if the infrastructure is maintained very well in years to come there won’t be any issues.
Waste Management is handled by the resident association. There are recycling bin at each entrance of a street, the estate is kept very clean.
This estate is well maintained, loving the green grass planted outside the fence of residential houses.
